Boomers Helping Boomers was born from a deeply personal understanding of what it means to face the challenge of having too much stuff and not enough time and/or energy to tackle it. As Baby Boomers ourselves, we have lived through downsizing, and watched as our own parents resisted letting go of things and witnessed their pain and stress because they waited too long to sort and organize a lifetime of memories and possessions. 

 

We know what it feels like to stand in a room full of a lifetime’s worth of belongings and not know where to begin. We know the weight of separating a memory from an object. And we know that the last thing anyone in that position needs is someone rushing them, judging them, or treating them like a project to be completed.

 

It is so important to take care of this before it becomes a crisis, the overwhelm becomes debilitating and adult children are overcome with worry.

 

That is why we built this business the way we did. Not as a franchise. Not as a faceless service that lacks the human touch.

When you work with Boomers Helping Boomers, you get me — hands-on and involved from start to finish. My husband occasionally lends a hand with the heavier work, so you'll always have the right support when it's needed.

 

We’ll help you accomplish what you feel needs to be done but may feel difficult for you, either because it is too physically demanding, it causes emotional discomfort, or there just isn’t enough time.
